(Boursier.com) — Mon Petit Placement, the Lyon-based Fintech which democratizes financial investment for individuals, announces that it has completed a new fundraising of 6.5 million euros. This new funding round was mainly carried out with La France Mutualiste, with the support of historical investors from Mon Petit Placement.

With this fundraising, the startup aims to work on new distribution channels, continue to expand its offering to meet the challenges of the French and become the reference platform for first-time investors. Mon Petit Placement aims to achieve financial balance by 2025, while continuing to work for the accessibility of savings products, with the support of La France Mutualiste. Founded more than 130 years ago, the La France Mutualiste group is a specialist in savings and retirement provision which supports more than 295,000 member-customers and manages 8.8 billion in assets. This fundraising brings together two players driven by common missions: democratizing access to savings and investment products for individuals.

Beyond fundraising, synergies between the startup and La France Mutualiste to democratize investment

This fundraising marks the merger between two entities with aligned missions, which work to democratize savings products and investment among individuals. Mon Petit Placement will distribute the life insurance and retirement savings plan (PER) products of La France Mutualiste from 2024. For its part, La France Mutualiste will benefit from the sharing of expertise of Mon Petit Placement in terms of digitalization and will thus be able to develop its digital channels.

“We share a similar culture and missions with La France Mutualiste. This merger allows us to continue our development with the support of a solid partner. We will be able to continue to enrich our offer in order to make savings truly accessible to all, “that is to say by addressing a neglected target that no one wants to advise today but who want to get started and be taken by the hand”, commented Thomas Perret, president and founder of Mon Petit Placement.
