Nawal, a young woman and great accustomed to movie theater UGC of Bercy Village testified to a very bad experience to our colleagues from Parisian. A few days ago, the client explained that she had made herself considerably bed bug bites during a session dated August 17th. She then hastened to bring the information back to the cinema.
She thus entrusted her ordeal to the Parisian by explaining that she thought first of all of “single chips”. Then, leaving the cinema, Nawal saw his back and his arms “covered with bites”. When she got home, she had the reflex to put her clothes in the wash but forgot her cloth bag, which was also infested with bedbugs after seeing her at the cinema. The young woman was then stung many times in the days that followed.
Despite several testimonies, the cinema does not react
Following this bad experience, Nawal then testified on social networks in order to warn cinema customers: “The odd rooms downstairs, UGC de Bercy Village, are infested with bed bugsattention!”, she warned. She then explained that the cinema had done nothing despite several testimonies, and had not even apologized: “In DM [message privé NDLR] we thank you for the info, but not a word of regret, nor any apology. Nothing. The direction of the cinema does not treat the rooms“she lamented.
Nawal’s post drew strong reactions, especially from people who confirmed his words after they too were victims of bedbug bites. On the site Next dooron which residents of the same neighborhood can discuss, a client of the cinema also testified: “I suspect the possible presence of bed bugs or other pests. After the session, I noticed the rapid appearance of pimples on my back, elbows and neck.”he wrote before also denouncing the silence of the cinema following this affair: “Unable to reach the cinemathey don’t answer…”.
