After a few weeks of rumors, Warner Bros. Games has formalized its fighting game, named MultiVersus. This one is awaited by many players for many reasons, in particular because it takes up the style of Super Smash Bros., a very popular license, but exclusive to Nintendo consoles, thus limiting its impact. In order not to miss anything of what has been announced about MultiVersushere is a summary of everything you need to know about her.
What is MultiVersus?
As we told you above, MultiVersus is a platform fighting game, as can be the Smash Bros. license. Three game modes will be available at release: team 2v2, 1v1 and four-player free-for-all, where the goal is to be the only survivor. MultiVersus wants to bet on the competitive aspect and to lead your fights, you will have access to a whole panel of characters, all from licenses held by Warner Bros. We will find for example Batman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Arya Stark, Bugs Bunny or even Tom and Jerry. The developers explain that this content will be expanded over time, through seasons. On the character side, it is important to specify that the latter are fully dubbed by the original actors, whether for the original version or the French version.
When is MultiVersus coming out?
No release date has yet been given for MultiVersus., but we know that the game will arrive, if all goes well, in the year 2022. We will have more information in the coming weeks. MultiVersus will arrive, moreover, in free-to-play. Tests will be organized soon.
What platforms is MultiVersus released on?
The good news is that MultiVersus will be available on a large majority of platforms. We will have access to it on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series. In addition, cross-play will be part of the game, allowing you to play with your friends without any worries. Note that a local mode will also be available. Unfortunately, the game does not seem planned to arrive on Nintendo Switch.

During this month of May 2022, and after a few leaks, gameplay was presented. Several fights, in which professional players are present, can be viewed in the video below.
