Murder trial after drama – daughters killed: Tyrolean father (29) in court


Today, Tuesday, a 29-year-old Tyrolean has to answer for two child murders at the Innsbruck Regional Court. He is accused of suffocating and strangling his two daughters at the age of nine months and two years in the Ötztal Längenfeld (Imst district) at the end of December. In the course of the interrogations after the gruesome act, the defendant made a comprehensive confession.

It was an incredible deed that shook the whole country shortly after Christmas. The now 29-year-old Tyrolean is said to have murdered his two daughters on the afternoon of December 28th.

The mother was working at the time of the crime. The little girls were finally found lifeless by the police in their children’s rooms in the family house in Längenfeld;

“Professionally and privately overtaxed”
The alleged perpetrator then attempted suicide. He survived and was only questioned the next day by investigators from the State Criminal Police Office. In the course of the interviews, the local man confessed extensively. The reasons he gave at the time were professional and private excessive demands.
