This time for sure, she won’t come back. After a comeback in season 10 of murders in paradise, broadcast on France 2 last year, Josephine Jobert leave again Guadeloupe. Season 11, currently broadcast in Great Britain, has indeed seen Inspector Florence Cassell drop everything to fly towards new horizons.
On social networks, Joséphine Jobert confirmed her departure from the series: “I already left in season 8. I thought it would be for good, honestly. I was done with the show,” told the French actress to the English site Hello, before adding: “Next, they asked me to come back for season 10 so I wanted to do it. But I knew it wouldn’t be forever. For how long ? I did not know. I had an idea but I wasn’t sure.”

The actress explains all the same that season 10 ended on such a cliffhanger between Neville (played by Ralf Little) and her, thatshe could not “not to come back, it would have been unfair… but I knew it would only be for four episodes, to finish the story between the two characters.”
Even if we shouldn’t see Joséphine Jobert again on a recurring basis in murders in paradise now, the actress confided that she could possibly return for a special episode. “The production was great.
