NEON teaser: a wall, a melee weapon and a lot of mobility?

Valorant shared a teaser of the new agent NEON. In this very dynamic video, we see her at work in several situations and her gameplay promises to be electric. If we have not yet tested the new “duelist”, we can already guess the extent of its potential!

NEON continues to reveal itself little by little. Originally from the Philippines, we begin to have a precise idea of his identity and his gameplay. While we already knew that she would have a very electric style, we now know that music and sound will also be important elements for this character. There is no longer any doubt with the teaser video offered by Riot Games and NEON should be a duelist.
We tried to deduce his skills from the video. The latter should drive a lot of players crazy … Sensitive souls refrain.
A mobile but also destructive agent?
Like all agents (or almost), NEON should benefit from 3 base skills and one ultimate skill. Without playing it and without having access to official data, we have no certainties. But if the skills are faithful to the video, we can still draw the outline of his powers.
- skill 1 : his first skill seems to allow him to move very quickly, like a flash of electricity. It also looks like it can travel its way without being affected by enemy fire (Sova’s ultimate). We hope this is a false impression otherwise it seems a little too strong … She can also tackle at the end of the race to stabilize and shoot at the same time.
- skill 2 : NEON launches a projectile that bounces before stunning enemies in the impact area.
- skill 3 : NEON creates a corridor of blue flames that reminds us of the Phoenix wall. But this corridor of flame puts up a wall on each side that blocks the vision of enemies. It would also seem that nearby opponents are revealed … We can assume that there is something to do with ultrasound since music is omnipresent in the teaser.
- ultimate skill : NEON charges a laser beam that damages (and kills) enemies. Looks a bit like a melee or mid-range weapon reminiscent of the old one Symetra of Overwatch.
Obviously, this remains guesswork and we wait to have tested the agent to communicate on his exact skills.
