Scott Pilgrim: a cult geek work

Netflix does not seem to want to slow down on the side of adaptations of successful works. This time it’s the comics Scott pilgrim which, according to the American media Variety, should be entitled to it, in the form of an animated series.

Made in particular famous by its adaptation on the big screen in 2010 by Edgar Wright (and its solid cast), Scott pilgrim is interested for the record in a young man of the same name, who must face the evil exes of the girl he is in love with, Ramona Flowers.

Bryan Lee O’Malley, the original comic book creator, will be writing and producing this adaptation, while he will share the showrunner chair with BenDavid Grabinski (Happily). Edgar Wright will also be part of the executive production.

As for the animation, it’s Science Saru (Devilman crybaby) who will be in charge. A great team of enthusiasts therefore, while the anime format should allow even more unbridled action than in the (already excellent) film, very inspired by video games.
