According to Le Parisien, Margaux Lahaye and the mothers of the two complainants who accuse the singer of rape, will appear on Monday, January 24, before the examining magistrate. They could be indicted for “witness tampering” and “non-denunciation of a crime”.
For three months, Jean-Luc Lahaye is imprisoned in the prison of Health in Paris, accused of “rape of minors”. He is suspected of having exerted a hold on two ex-fans, teenagers at the time of the facts, in order to obtain their favors during violent sexual relations. The 69-year-old singer disputes the statements and assures that these love affairs were granted.
New twist in the case: according to The Parisian, justice wonders about the possible role played by his daughter and the mothers of the alleged victims in the establishment of a well-established system of sexual abuse. On November 17, at the same time as the artist, the three women had already been placed in police custody at the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons (OCRP), but they had come out free.
A manipulative daughter to whitewash her father and mothers complicit in sexual violence
According to The Parisian, Margaux Lahaye is suspected of having intimidated and manipulated one of the two complainants so that she exonerates the singer during a previous judicial investigation. At the time, the fan, then aged 14, was heard by the police after a Facebook report to justice. She had assured that she had sent virtual pornographic pictures to Jean-Luc Lahaye on her own initiative and had harassed him to answer her. She had omitted to mention their actual sexual relations and no prosecution had taken place.
In the spring of 2021, now 23 years old, the young woman, having realized that it was not about love but about sexual violence, decided to file a complaint against the singer. She then denounced the intimidation and manipulation of which she was the victim by Margaux Lahaye, very active in the defense of her father. The two mothers of the complainants will also have to explain themselves to the judge : they were aware of the sexual relations of their daughters with the singer, and saw no objection to it. One of them had even agreed to film their sexual intercourse. According to The Parisian, the investigating judge could initiate proceedings against the three women or grant them a more favorable status of assisted witness.
