In an interview with the magazine Gala Wednesday August 23, 2023, the presenter’s companion revealed that she was totally unaware of the seriousness of the condition where her husband was. “No one told me the truth. My daughter Stéfanie, who went to see him every lunchtime, had to ask the doctors to hide her from me. we no longer met anyone, explained Dany Saval. For his part, Michel Drucker was not frankly very optimistic about his chances of survival. “Me, honestly, I thought I was finished. It took me a month to be able to sit in an armchair, and two months to go in the shower. Without Dany, without Stéfanie, who kindly knew how to hustle for me to eat again, I would never have gotten out of it”, underlined the presenter.
