Norbert Bebensee died in the night from Monday to Tuesday. His wife Birgit took a loving farewell to her husband on Instagram.
Together with his wife Birgit, he became a TV star through “Goodbye Germany” – now Norbert Bebensee has passed away. According to reports from the broadcaster RTL, his family had to say goodbye to him on the night of May 31st to June 1st. The former soccer player was 67 years old.
“The love of my life”
There is still no official confirmation or statement from the family, which is more than understandable under the current circumstances. On Tuesday lunchtime, Norbert’s wife Birgit published a farewell greeting on Instagram, which does not explicitly mention his death, but clearly on the subject. It is now unclear how things will go on for the family and their cult café “Shorty’s” in Gran Canaria.
