He worked with Alfred Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin and Amy Schumer – now actor Norman Lloyd has died at the age of 106.

Norman Lloyd has died at the age of 106, as reported by “The Hollywood Reporter”. The actor and director worked with Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980), Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) and Amy Schumer (39), among others. According to the US media, he was considered the longest-working actor in Hollywood history.

Norman Lloyd started acting in the 1930s. In 2015 he was in front of the camera for the film “Dating Queen” with Schumer. He was also a member of the Mercury Theater, the New York City theater company co-founded by Orson Welles (1915-1985). Lloyd was already seen in the first production. He was also known through Alfred Hitchcock’s film “Saboteure” (1942). In “Limelight” (1952), Lloyd played with Charlie Chaplin. The actor later took on a role in the TV series “Chief Doctor Dr. Westphall” or in the film “Der Club der toten Dichter” (1989) with Robin Williams (1951-2014).
