Where is Brian Laundrie (23) and how did his girlfriend Gabby Petito († 22) die? Two questions that keep investigators in the US – and the family of the dead – in peace. Now Brian Laundrie’s father has apparently decided to help find his child. More than three weeks after it disappeared.
Chris Laundrie arrived Thursday at the Florida wildlife sanctuary where his missing son is believed to be. Brian Laundrie has been searched for in the vast Carlton Reserve in Florida since September 18.

Should he show Brian’s favorite spots to the police?
“Chris Laundrie was asked to point out any favorite trails or places Brian might have used on the reservation,” said Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino.
The legal representative says: “Although Chris and Roberta Laundrie gave this information orally three weeks ago, it is now of the opinion that on-site support would be better.”
The attorney said Chris Laundrie was asked to join the search, but North Port police denied the claim, according to the “New York Post” on Thursday. The lawyer also says the family has shown itself to be cooperative.
Family changes their information
But it wasn’t until the beginning of the week that they suddenly changed their information. They told the authorities that the last time they saw their son was on September 14th. But then they changed that statement to September 13th.
Brian Laundrie had returned from a road trip with his girlfriend Gabby Petito on September 1st – but without her. Petito was officially reported missing on September 11 and found dead in a forest in Wyoming on September 19. Brian Laundrie did not speak to the police while he was home.
Brian’s sister: “I don’t know if my parents are involved”
His sister Cassie Laundrie also speaks up. She tells CNN that she doesn’t know where her brother is either. “I’m worried about him. I hope he’s ok. But I’m also angry and don’t know what to think. ”
When asked if her parents might be involved in her brother’s disappearance, Cassie said, “I don’t know if my parents are involved.” (euc)
