  • The OnePlus Open could get a triple camera and be brighter than the Pixel Fold.
  • The camera on the back will consist of a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel periscope camera.
  • The maximum brightness of the screens should be 2,800 nits.

The OnePlus Open is scheduled to appear on October 19th. OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone is rumored to actually be an Oppo Find N3, which is being rebranded for the international market. Nevertheless, we get new information from a leaker.

According to Gizmochina, the prolific and well-known leaker Digiatal Chat Station has new information about the cameras and the screens. On the back, a 48-megapixel main camera is said to be responsible for snapshots. This is supported by a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel periscope camera. There is probably still some disagreement among the rumors regarding the zoom level. It could either have 3x optical zoom or come with 2x zoom level.

In addition, the OnePlus Fold is said to be a lot brighter at 2,800 nits than the Pixel Fold, which is only 1,450 nits bright. The foldable could also have a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. Under the hood there will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 together with a maximum memory configuration of 16 gigabytes of RAM and up to one terabyte of data storage. The battery is expected to have a capacity of 4,805 milliamp hours and fast charging with 100 watts.
