Numerous stars attended the opening ceremony of the Munich Film Festival. Ottfried Fischer did not miss the evening either.
The actor Ottfried Fischer (69), who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, only rarely appears in public. But he came to the opening ceremony of the 40th Munich Film Festival on June 23 – accompanied by his wife Simone.
“Overall I’m doing pretty well”
The former “Bull von Tölz” wore a black suit and a purple shirt for the festive occasion, his wife had chosen a white one-shoulder dress. The couple posed in a good mood in front of the photographers. She pushed his wheelchair, which Fischer has needed for some time.
Most recently, the couple showed up at the “Derblecken” on Munich’s Nockherberg in early March. In April, Ottfried Fischer in an interview with the “Abendzeitung München” about his state of health said: “I don’t tremble, I sometimes have problems speaking, then I miss words, but on the whole I’m holding up quite well.” He needs the wheelchair because of an osteoarthritis operation on his knee in early 2022. “I fell after the operation and that’s why I’m currently in a wheelchair, I hope, a temporary condition.” As was seen at the Munich Film Festival, he still needs help.
In November he celebrates his milestone birthday
On November 7th, the Bavarian veteran will be 70 years old. Fischer celebrated the greatest successes with the series “Der Bulle von Tölz” and “Der Pfundskerl”. In 2008 he announced that he had Parkinson’s disease. His partner Simone stuck by him. The couple just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. On June 19, 2020, after 14 years of relationship, the two married in Passau. In an interview with “t-online” he enthused last year: “My wife does a great service to my well-being! She is a god-gifted nurse.”
