OVHcloud signs strong growth in the 1st quarter and confirms its outlook for 2021-2022


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – Cloud computing services specialist OVHcloud on Wednesday confirmed its objectives for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2022, after posting a sharp increase in revenues in the first quarter.

Over the period from September to November, OVHcloud achieved a turnover of 187.2 million euros, an increase of 13.9%. Quarterly sales of the group founded by Octave Klaba increased by 13.5% like-for-like, i.e. at constant exchange rates and scope, excluding the direct impacts related to the fire that occurred in March 2021 in a group data center located in Strasbourg.

For the current financial year, managers are still anticipating an increase in sales of between 12.5% ​​and 15% on a like-for-like basis, as well as an adjusted EBITDA margin of close to 40%. During the previous fiscal year, OVHcloud’s turnover reached 663.3 million euros, up 12% on a like-for-like basis. Its adjusted gross operating profit (EBITDA) amounted to 262 million euros, representing 39.5% of sales.

OVHcloud joined the Paris Stock Exchange on October 15, before joining the SBF 120 index on December 20. Tuesday, the title closed down 1.3% to 24.47 euros. Compared to the price of 18.50 euros retained for its listing on Euronext Paris, the title gained 32.3%, bringing out a capitalization of 4.65 billion euros.
