Peer Kusmagk (44) and Janni Hönscheid (born 1980) are back in Germany. After a "very, very long and exhausting journey with many obstacles", the couple arrived in Potsdam with their two children. Finally at home!
The feeling of relief also resonates in the latest post: "At home. Arriving has rarely felt as good for us as after this trip. And even if nobody knows exactly where this unexpected journey will take us, one thing is now already certain: in the end it will bring us all closer together. Also on Janni Hönscheid's own Instagram channel, the surfer makes it clear why "these first days back feel so good". She explains: "For the past two weeks on the trip, we had so much to decide every day, to think about, hung up on the news, on telephone lines, and were so torn …" They also always tried to do everything that way to keep away from the children as best as possible – and this double life was very tiring.
Ginger, vitamin C and yoga
And what happens now? "We drink a lot of ginger, eat a lot of vitamin C, and try to stay at home as much as possible, once a day we go out into the fresh air," says Hönscheid, describing the corona-related everyday life back in Germany. In the story, she also shows herself in yoga.
