« 28 hours of debate, 28 hours of blocking. The projection of Renaissance deputy Sylvain Maillard sums up the bitter impression left by these three days of discussion of the pension reform in the Social Affairs Committee. At the end of the debates, Wednesday 1er February around 7 p.m., only two articles of the bill, which contains twenty, had been discussed. Worse, the commissioners had been able to examine “only” 430 amendments – 4,997 remained, including around 4,700 tabled by Nupes.
