In the first, the baby whisperer “Toni” helps his colleague out of a tight spot. Chris Pine chases a mad Russian oligarch in “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” (ProSieben). In “Jenseits der Spree” (ZDF) a “miracle drug” occupies the investigators.

For the busy obstetrician Toni Hasler (Leo Reisinger), summer camping holidays are a cherished tradition. Chilling out by the lake with the children and his buddy Franzl (Frederic Linkemann) – what could be nicer? Unfortunately, this time unforeseen disturbances spoil his well-deserved rest. Toni has to go to the police every now and then to trigger his colleague: Luise (Wolke Hegenbarth) stabbed her ex-husband’s car tires because he left her with her baby.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Thriller

Afghanistan returnees Jack Ryan (Chris Pine) longs for peace and quiet and therefore takes an office job on Wall Street. But his new boss, the CIA agent William Harper (Kevin Costner), has other plans for him. Ryan is supposed to prevent a terrorist attack with which an oligarch wants to paralyze the US economy on behalf of the Russian government. As an undercover agent, Ryan makes his way to Moscow. There he has to learn that he cannot trust anyone.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Beyond the Spree: The Last Trip, crime series

Fabian Seifert (Maik Rogge) lies dead in his apartment in Köpenick. He had exploited a gray area in the law and legally sold an LSD derivative. Was his business idea fatal for him? The cops determine that the LSD derivative only turns into a drug after ingestion in the body. Fabian presented himself as a kind of guru. It seemed to him that it was primarily about the well-being of his customers and not about his financial profit.

8:15 p.m., RTL two, The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, superhero action

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) does not have an easy life as Spider-Man: On the one hand, he feels obliged to protect the people of New York, on the other hand, he strives for the relationship with his great love Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). The situation comes to a head when Oscorp employee Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) mutates into the literally electrified villain Electro due to an accident at work, and destroys Times Square. To make matters worse, Peter’s friend Harry Osborne (Dane DeHaan) learns that he has inherited an incurable disease and is taking on the traits of his hated father.

10:15 p.m., Das Erste, crime scene: time of the frogs, crime thriller

When a blood-soaked teenage-sized hoodie is found in a collection of old clothes, Ellen Berlinger (Heike Makatsch) and her colleague Martin Rascher (Sebastian Blomberg) are alerted. For Martin, the find is a bad signal. For years, an unsolved series of murders against young people has weighed heavily on his mind. Now he is convinced that another teenager has been killed. In Ellen’s eyes, this is just one of the possible explanations. But she too is worried. Because the sweater could belong to Jonas (Luis August Kurecki), the son of her cousin Maja (Jule Böwe).
