A tricky case for Isabel von Brede (Sabine Postel) and Markus Gellert (Herbert Knaup): a Turkish caretaker has been in custody for six months. He is accused of killing an elderly gentleman in his apartment. The indictment is based on the autopsy report, in which there is talk of a fatal blow. Everything speaks against the client of the law firm: the neighbor of the dead man claims to have heard how the caretaker argued with the deceased.
8:15 p.m., kabel eins, collateral, thriller drama
One evening, the taxi driver Max (Jamie Foxx) chauffeurs a mysterious passenger named Vincent (Tom Cruise) from one address to the next for several hours and cannot shake off the suspicion that he is accompanying a hitman at work. He is desperately looking for a way to prevent the deeds. But he has to hurry, because Vincent has him and his victims in his sights.

For a year, Eva Brenner accompanies three families whose lives were turned upside down by the flood in the Ahr Valley. Their houses are destroyed and need to be restored. There are many problems to be overcome. A number of volunteers who have come from all over Germany are still helping today and taking part in the reconstruction. The task is almost overwhelming, because entire regions are affected. The catastrophe shows that Germany is also vulnerable: Extreme weather is increasing and endangering security in many regions.
