Navy aviator Pete Mitchell (Tom Cruise), aka Maverick, returns to his former flight school, Top Gun, to assemble a team for a very risky mission. Ambitious graduates Rooster (Miles Teller), Hangman (Glen Powell), Bob (Lewis Pullman) and Phoenix (Monica Barbaro) undergo Maverick’s unconventional training methods. While Maverick prepares the young pilots for their mission, he is quickly caught up in his own past.

The WWM Christmas special 2023 with Günther Jauch is all about the Christian holidays: The eight candidates bring their most beautiful Christmas stories. The studio is decorated for winter and the Joker presents dangle in the Christmas trees. Everyone plays in normal mode and has the choice between risk and safety variants. In addition, they can pick another joker from the tree as a “Christmas present”.

Staff captain Martin Grimm (Daniel Morgenroth) is planning a motorcycle tour in Utah with his old friend Stefan Fieringer (Wolfgang Fierek). Hanna Liebhold (Barbara Wussow) ensures that Captain Max Parger (Florian Silbereisen) also takes part. However, the drive through Monument Valley is anything but relaxing. A black pickup truck first tries to force the motorcyclists off the road, and then Martin Grimm and Max Parger are arrested by the sheriff. With no way to contact Stefan or the shipping company, they face a night in prison.
