Touching monument! He planted trees for grandson Prince George

Prince Charles makes a heartfelt revelation: He planted a new garden on his Balmoral estate and named it after his first grandson, Prince George.
During a “BBC” interview on the environment, Prince Charles, 72, shows his beautiful green seat at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. There the heir to the throne put a “green” monument to his first grandson Prince George, 8, as he now reveals.
Prince Charles dedicates an autumn garden to his grandson
“This was a fairly empty field that was not needed for the farm,” explains the 72-year-old in front of a garden that is now covered with numerous brightly colored trees. “The great thing is that I managed to plant it the same year my eldest grandson, George, was born. So I thought I’d call him Prince George’s Wood.”
The colorfully overgrown piece of land is an autumn garden that shines in particularly beautiful colors, especially in this season and in spring. “It’s magical here in the fall,” enthuses Charles.

The Duke of Rothesay, as is his title in Scotland, has been committed to protecting the environment for many decades. Above all, as a grandfather of four, he is “extremely concerned” about the environment and climate change. “I always felt that we were somehow trimmed to believe that nature is a separate thing that we can easily exploit,” said Prince Charles.

The Duke himself is extremely environmentally conscious, even reporting that he refrains from fish and meat twice a week and from dairy products once a week. “It’s a way of doing it,” he explains of his menu. “If more people did that, it would reduce a lot of pressure on the environment.” In addition, he has converted his Aston Martin, which he has owned for 51 years, so that it can now run on remains of English wine and whey from cheese production instead of normal gasoline.
