Instead of a Christmas party together, the royals are apparently sending each other their gifts by post this year.

Due to the corona pandemic, many families will have to spend Christmas separately this year. So do the British royals. The English royal family such as Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39, "Suits") as well as Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (37) sent each other gifts by mail, reports the US magazine "People" at Appeal to internal sources.

According to information from the magazine, both the brothers Prince Harry and Prince William and the entire royal family exchanged their Christmas gifts by post this year. For the first time since 1987, Queen Elizabeth II (94) will not celebrate Christmas this year with the royal family in Sandringham Castle in Norfolk, England.

Royals celebrate Christmas scattered

The Queen and Prince Philipp (99) will spend Christmas at Windsor Castle, where they have largely been in quarantine since March. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, on the other hand, will celebrate Christmas with their son Archie (1) in their new home in Montecito, California. Only Prince William and Duchess Kate seem to be unclear: During their train tour with the Royal Express through Great Britain last week, the royal couple said that they did not yet know exactly where they would spend the festival. It is conceivable that they will celebrate either at their homestead in Norfolk, or with Kate's parents, Carole, 65, and Michael Middleton, 71, in Berkshire.
