Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) have apparently said goodbye to parental leave. That comes out indirectly from the birth announcement of daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. “While the Duke and Duchess are on parental leave, Archewell will continue to do important work and post stories on the site,” it says at the appropriate place on the homepage of their Archewell Foundation.

Royal expert Omid Scobie confirmed this and also interpreted in an interview with “Good Morning America” indicated that the break could last up to 20 weeks. As then working members of the royal family, they took Archie on his first official trip to South Africa when he was just four months old. In spring 2020, the couple resigned from all positions and duties as senior royals and moved to California, where their daughter was born.
