After their exit as high-ranking and working members of the British royal family, Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 42, are building a new life in the United States. The couple initially stayed at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor when they visited Harry’s homeland. At the beginning of the summer, however, they had to vacate the cozy little house. Now they should play with the idea of renting a new apartment – of all places in Kensington Palace, the previous home of Prince William, 41, and his family.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are said to want to move into an apartment in Kensington Palace

The plan is said to be to invest more time in improving the broken relationship with relatives, reports the US magazine “OK”. According to an insider, the couple hope that the move will be well received, especially by Harry’s brother Prince William, 41. By renting and furnishing the apartment, they want to show him how serious they are about their return.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe also seems to believe that there is some truth to the story. “Having lost Frogmore they need a base in the UK and it’s likely that that will be more of an occasional home and place to be when they’re here than something permanent. But this is a clear sign that they are trying to reconcile with the rest of the family,” he told Britain’s Bella magazine.

After all, the Sussexes have refrained from making public statements about the royal family for the past six months since the release of Harry’s revealing memoir “Spare” (German “Reserve”), he notes. “It’s a good sign because they still have a long way to go to get back to the heart of the family after burning so many bridges,” Larcombe said.

Prince Harry is coming to London in September

Time will tell what the latest rumors are about. However, they seem a little hard to believe given the latest news surrounding Prince Harry’s visit to London. An official press release confirmed on August 24 that the 38-year-old will attend the WellChild Awards in his hometown on September 7, the eve of the first anniversary of the death of his beloved grandmother Queen Elizabeth, † 96.

According to insiders from the “Daily Mail”, however, Harry has “no intentions” to meet his relatives during his flying visit home. He will travel to the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf on September 9th. Later, Meghan will also travel to Germany, said a spokesman for the Sussexes. That doesn’t sound like reconciliation.
