In January 2020, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced that they would be stepping down as senior royals. On April 1st, the "Megxit" came into force and with it a twelve-month review phase of the palace. In view of the approaching end of this observation, Harry should now want to speak to his family.

In the meantime, Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 39, have built their own life in the USA – including their own podcast on Spotify and a Netflix contract. Prince Harry was withdrawn from his military posts in the wake of the exit, which are reportedly not to be refilled until the summer.

However, traveling during the coronavirus pandemic is currently out of the question. It is therefore said that Harry is planning to return to England for his grandmother's birthday in April – Meghan is also expected.

Royal Author: "Things seem to have calmed down."

The discussions around the "Megxit" are said to have cooled down significantly in the past few months and are less heated than at the beginning of the year. As the royal biographer Andrew Morton reports to the "Daily Mail", Prince Harry is in regular contact with the Queen. Before the deadline – which will be March 31 – no new results are expected. "You will need a few weeks. That could be done after April, depending on Covid," said Morton.
