Prince Harry: Is the Royal a member of a US "helicopter club"?

As a member of the Army Air Corps, Prince Harry learned to pilot helicopters. He obviously doesn't want to lose this ability at any price.

In his new US homeland, California, Prince Harry (36) is said to have joined a kind of "helicopter club", reports British media such as "The Sun". The 36-year-old wants to ensure that he does not lose the license he has acquired in the army to act as a helicopter pilot because of insufficient flight hours, it is said.

With all the media boo about Prince Harry and his Duchess Meghan (39, "Suits"), it is easy to forget that the British royal can look back on a remarkable career in the military. In 2013, after obtaining a normal helicopter driver's license, he even obtained permission to pilot an Apache combat helicopter.

He will probably not collect more practice for the latter model in the club. In the future, however, he would very much like to be "free as a bird" for private reasons, for example so that his small family could spontaneously fly from A to B. The paper claims to have found out about this from a good friend of Harry's.
