This is a message to all parents. The government site, which lists recalls of dangerous or defective products, issued a specific recall on a toy on Tuesday, as revealed BFMTV. This is the“Advanced single shot blaster”, a spinning top launcher from the brand “MAD Spinner”. The product concerned bears the barcode “GTIN 4891813863052” and is part of the lot “357BOL”.
According to information issued by Consumption reminder, the product was marketed in France between February 24, 2021 and September 01, 2021. It was available for purchase throughout France from traditional toy distributors such as Leclerc, Carrefour, Jouéclub, Amazon, Picwix, La grande recreation, and King Toy.
This recall is due to a risk of serious eye damage, with external injuries and internal damage evoked. “If the beam is directed into the eyes it can cause blood vessels to coagulate which will result in a significant reduction in central vision, whether temporary or permanent”, prevents product recall. It is therefore recommended not to use the toy any longer and to return it to the point of sale. The reminder, with reimbursement, is valid until March 5, 2022.
