Queen Elizabeth: That's how she feels about Charles' corona diagnosis

Queen Elizabeth is 93 years old and therefore carries a higher risk of contracting the coronavirus. To calm the people after the announcement of Prince Charles, COVID-19, 71 and to avoid any speculation as to the health of the Queen, the Palace announced on Wednesday (March 25):

"The Queen is in good health. The Queen last saw the Prince of Wales briefly on the morning of March 12th and is following all appropriate advice regarding her well-being."

Queen Elizabeth is fine!

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, 98, have been in a kind of self-quarantine at Windsor Castle since March 19. Actually, the couple didn't want to leave for their property until this week to start their Easter vacation. However, because of the coronavirus crisis, the palace preferred to leave. It was also likely, it was announced, that the Queen would stay in Windsor beyond Easter.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla (72, tested negative for Corona) are in Scotland. There is both Balmoral Castle, which is privately owned by the Queen, and Birkhall, Charles' manor.

Where Charles got infected is not known. Just so much: Both an employee of Buckingham Palace and Prince Albert, 62, whom Charles met at a conference in London on March 10, were previously affected by the corona virus.

So the Queen passes the time

Queen Elizabeth no longer keeps appointments, but that does not mean that she is idle. As far as possible, she carries out her official business in the home office.

Only a few court employees accompanied the Queen and Philip to Windsor. According to Mail Online, the small group includes a housemaid, a cook, a servant, Angela Kelly (the Queen's personal assistant and dressing lady) and Paul Whybrew (a high-ranking courtier).

An insider said on the website: "The Queen adores Paul. He is the perfect, soothing companion in such circumstances. The Queen could not make it without Paul and Angela and they are with her all the time." Kelly and Whybrew and Prince Philip's valet, Dave Berwick, were the only ones to come into contact with the Queen and Philip, the insider said.
