Father and son share the birthday: Rania of Jordan congratulated husband King Abdullah II and son Hashem with new photos.

Two of the most important men in the life of Queen Rania of Jordan (51) share January 30 as their birthday: husband King Abdullah II celebrates his 60th birthday on this day, son Prince Hashem turns 17. For the occasion, the proud wife and mother has now opened the family album and warmly congratulated the two via Instagram.

“My heart is the home of a king”, the 51-year-old writes about a new portrait with Abdullah II., to whom she has been married since 1993. The photo shows him in a casual business look, his shirt unbuttoned and without a tie, his arms crossed in front of his chest. She is wearing a plain white dress with a tie at the waist and has her hand on his shoulder.

A few hours later, the Jordanian queen then shared a rare photo with her son, Prince Hashem. “May your years be full of love and light,” the mother-of-four writes about the snapshot, on which she stands smiling next to the 17-year-old. King Abdullah II himself also sent congratulations to his birthday twin via Instagram and shared a photo, showing the father-son duo arm in arm. Prince Hashem is the youngest child of the royal couple and the second eldest son. He is second in line to the Jordanian throne behind his older brother, Crown Prince Hussein (27). The brother and father also congratulated them with photos from the family album. “We celebrate 60 years with you as father, mentor and leader”, he wrote to a video about Abdullah II.
