Raphaël de Casabianca sets the bar very high! For 2022, the host has vowed to go in Rendez-vous in unknown land with … Celine Dion. An ambitious wish that the presenter formulated on Twitter before asking Internet users to share it as much as possible so that the request reaches the ears of the singer. Yes but here it is, Celine Dion, who has not yet reacted, could well decline the proposal of Raphaël de Casabianca because of his state of health. Last October, the star was forced to cancel several dates of his tour scheduled for this year, explaining that he suffered from “severe and persistent muscle spasms that prevent it from occurring on stage“. In a statement, her team indicates that Celine continues to be”assessed and processed” but that “the symptoms she is experiencing do not allow her to participate in rehearsals for the new show.“For her part, the singer apologized to her fans, expressing her great disappointment.”My heart is broken. We have been working on our new show for 8 months and not being able to take the stage in November saddens me beyond words. I have to focus on my health to get better quickly … I want to get out of it as quickly as possible“, she said on Twitter.
Rendezvous in unknown land: which stars are expected for 2022?
Céline Dion in Rendezvous in Unknown Land? This would have been a hit, especially since the singer would have been the first international star to participate in the show. Unfortunately, this is a project that will not see the light of day anytime soon. May fans of the France 2 program be reassured: other voices from the French music scene will be there such as singer Barbara Pravi (second at Eurovision 2021) who will visit the Balagne region in Haute-Corse or the rapper Oli who will put his suitcases on the Island of Madagascar.
