A 19-year-old speedster went to the Lucerne police on Sunday evening. The patrol observed the Swiss woman in Ebikon as she used her cell phone while driving. When the woman was asked to stop, she pressed the accelerator and fled via the A14 in the direction of Zug and then on the A4 in the direction of Schwyz.
On the highway, the woman drove in the construction site area (signaled 80km / h) with at least 160km / h, the Lucerne police wrote in a message.
Drug test positive
During the escape, there were multiple violations of speed – also in urban areas. Between Goldau and Steinen, the young driver crossed the safety lines several times, endangering other road users.
The teenage girl then drove into a dead end in Steinen and was stopped and arrested. A rapid drug test reacted positively. The woman was arrested on site and the car was seized.
Pedestrian had to jump to the side
The Lucerne police are looking for witnesses to the following incidents:
On the A14 there was almost a collision with a car in front (VW Golf, gray) and a motorcycle because the driver did not keep the necessary distance. The Lucerne police are looking for the affected driver and motorcyclist as witnesses.
The 19-year-old crossed the safety line on Bergstrasse in Goldau (direction Steinen) and there was almost a collision with a correctly approaching car (Opel Insigna OPC with ZH license plate). The police are looking for the affected driver to provide information.
In Steinen, a pedestrian had to jump to the side in safety because the woman drove unchecked into Herrengasse. The Lucerne police are looking for the pedestrian concerned to provide information. (man)
