Indie studio Cozy Computer and publisher Raw Fury took to the Future Games Show Spring Showcase to announce their new title, Pizza Possum. Billed as a top-down action-arcade hide-and-seek game, it’s expected to release sometime in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
In this fast-paced arcade game, you’ll play as an adorable opossum who just happens to be literally starving. Your goal will then be simple, eat as much food as possible. But to achieve this you will have to avoid being caught by the guard dogs, determined to catch you and put an end to your feast.
With each of your successes you will earn useful points to unlock new objects. Thus, it will be possible to obtain smoke bombs or even boxing gloves to help you create a diversion against the dog patrols. And to wreak even more havoc in the quaint little town that serves as your playground, you can team up with a friend in local co-op mode.
