Her daughter slept on the “Friends” sofa as a baby

The iconic sofa at Central Perk is well known to “Friends” fans. Reese Witherspoon has now revealed that her daughter slept on it.
Around 20 years ago, viewers had to say goodbye to the popular series “Friends” after ten seasons – but the TV hit remains unforgotten. actress Reese Witherspoon (48) has very special memories because she took on a guest role in 2000. She even brought her daughter Ava (24), who was only a few months old at the time, to the set.
The live audience scared her
Witherspoon played the younger sister of Jennifer Aniston’s (55) role Rachel in some episodes of the cult series. And that was certainly a challenge for the star of the film “Eiskalte Engel”: “Being on ‘Friends’ is still one of my scariest moments ever, because it was in front of a live audience and I had never really done theater.” said the 48-year-old in an interview with the US magazine “People” back. “I had never stood in front of a live audience before.”
But even the beautiful moments remain in her memory so many years later. She remembers how Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox (59) met their daughter, who was born just a few months ago. “Jen was just the sweetest to me. I had just had a baby and I remember her and Courteney running into my dressing room and saying, ‘Can we see the baby?'” The two “Friends” stars had that I also definitely want to hold the little ones.
She even has a very special snapshot of her daughter from that time – because little Ava was allowed to sleep on the sofa of the famous series café: “I was allowed to put her on the couch in Central Perk and I still have a little picture of her at Central Perk.”
“You could see that they really loved each other”
Witherspoon also emphasized in the interview that she will always remember the close bond she experienced among the six “Friends” leads. “They had this natural rapport and rhythm with each other,” she said. “You could see that they really loved each other. It’s really nice for me that I got to see them.” The actors’ bond became evident last year after the untimely death of Matthew Perry (1969-2023). The remaining five “Friends” attended his funeral together.
