Confusion about answer: Ordered, not delivered
A query response from mobility LR René Zumtobel (SPÖ) provides information about this. Accordingly, out of 680 buses across Tyrol, 216 are driving around in the new design. As further explained, there was no tender for buses with the new design in 2021, there were 166 in 2022 and five in 2023. And how many were actually delivered? Zumtobel’s query response also provides information about this: zero in 2021, zero in 2022, five in 2023. Of the 216 multicolored buses, 211 must have been repainted. Or the query response on which Sint bases his criticism is incorrect. The “Krone” asked Zumtobel for clarification. Because he emphasized several times: “The VVT does not change the color of a single bus that is currently in use.”
