Rhône In Lyon, road safety is active to protect two-wheelers

Road safety is planning a broad awareness campaign for motorized two-wheelers. From March 22 to 24, the latter will mobilize in the largest cities of France, and in particular in Lyon, where you, lovers of two-wheelers, could well receive a prevention flyer on your motorcycle, cyclo.

The objective of this operation is to warn users of motorized two-wheelers of the danger of undressing on sunny days. “On a motorcycle or scooter, without complete equipment, you risk losing your skin”, basically displays the flyer provided by road safety. The back of the small poster will be made of sandpaper, to simulate the friction of the wheel in the event of a fall, which can sometimes be dramatic, especially on two-wheelers…

In a press release, road safety recalls the mandatory and recommended equipment to wear when traveling on motorized two-wheelers:

  • A jacket
  • Gloves (CE certified)
  • Shoes
  • A helmet (ECE approved or NF standard)
  • Airbags

From March 22 to 24, a prevention flyer will therefore be placed on thousands of motorized two-wheelers in Lyon parked in dedicated spaces. This action echoes a national campaign broadcast on TV since March 20.
