A traffic accident occurred this Tuesday, shortly before 8 p.m., on the A43 in the Chambéry-Lyon direction near Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure. Fortunately, the incident did not cause serious injuries. Three people were however evacuated in relative urgency by the emergency services.
A first collision apparently took place between a heavy vehicle and a light vehicle. When help arrived, the truck was across the tracks. Everything suggests that the central concrete slide has stopped its course.
An additional accident then occurred as a second light vehicle was involved.
Significant traffic disruptions
The firefighters discovered three victims on the spot, all slightly injured. No extrication was necessary. At 9.15 p.m., the latter were being transported to a care center in the Metropolis of Lyon, according to Sdmis.
The incident caused a heavy traffic jam on the A43 since the traffic was only on one lane.
The Samu and the police were also on site.
