Rocket League: Team Queso Wins 2021-22 RLCS Winter Regional Event 1


It would soon be a year since Team Queso had not won an edition of the RLCS on Rocket League, more precisely, since his victory at RLCS Season X – Spring: EU Regional Event 1 where the team had won in the final against Solary, in March 2021. They are finally back on the front of the stage having won the last RLCS 2021-22 – Winter: EU Regional Event 1.

Team Queso first came out of their group, Group B, being undefeated, winning each of its matches face to Misfits Gaming, Dignitas and Rix.GG. The team therefore immediately acceded in the Upper Bracket of the playoffs of the competition. At his side, came out first in their group Team BDS, group A, followed by Williams Resolve for group C and Endpoint CeX for group D. 8 other teams are however qualified for the lower bracket, among which we find familiar names, like Dignitas, Evil Geniuses, Team Vitality, Karmine Corp and even Luminosity Gaming.

During the playoffs, Team Queso first found themselves face at Williams Resolve in the semi-finals. After a difficult match, the Spaniards nevertheless won on the score of 4 to 3. They then advance to the Upper Bracket final, against Team BDS, who easily won 4-1 v Endpoint CeX, and prevail over a flawless 4-0.

They therefore find themselves in the grand final against Dignitas, who experienced a very peaceful Lower Bracket, winning all his matches brilliantly: 3-1 against Luminosity, 3-0 against KCorp, 4-0 against Williams Resort, 4-2 against Endpoint CeX and finally 4-0 against Team BDS. During this grand final, however, Team Queso easily won against the team from the United States. on the score of 4 to 1. Team Queso are therefore the big winners of this Apollo Open and therefore RLCS European champions.
