Roll on Sunday: Georges Pernoud’s two daughters invited to pay tribute to him

One year ago, on January 10, 2021, Georges Pernoud died at the age of 73 from a long illness. The emblematic host of the show Thalassa left behind his wife Monique and their two daughters, Fanny and Julie. The latter have just celebrated the first anniversary of his death with Michel Drucker, in Roll on Sunday.

From 3.10 p.m., they will be received in the famous red sofa of the show to make tribute to their father and to retrace his journey. Fanny and Julie will be joined by two big names in French shipping, namely Loïck Peyron and Olivier de Kersauson. Both had long rubbed shoulders with Georges Pernoud on various projects related to the sea, his greatest passion.

In Roll on next Sunday, Michel Drucker will change course and this time will focus on comedy. He will be particularly interested in the casting of the play. Time square, by Clément Koch and directed by José Paul, composed of Guillaume de Tonquédec and young Axel auriant (seen in Skam France). The two men also give the reply to the actress Camille Aguilar. They will perform on the stage of the Théâtre de Montparnasse from January 22 to April 17 in Paris.

Michel Drucker will also receive a filmmaker: Claude Lelouch. The Oscar-winning director has been invited to promote his new and fiftieth film, Love is better than life, expected on January 19 in cinemas. For the occasion, Claude Lelouch has chosen an eclectic group of actors, to say the least, with Gérard Darmon, Sandrine Bonnaire, Philippe Lellouche, Kev Adams and even Béatrice Dalle.

Finally, viewers will hear from Gims. A busy new year awaits the rapper who has just launched a show for Brut X called Talk like never before. He also plans to reform the group that made him known, Sexion d’Assaut, on the occasion of an exceptional tour.

Roll on Sunday from 3.10 p.m. on France 2
