Roller Champions: one more postponement for free-to-play, a new release period given

In the last news, Roller Champions was to be launched before the end of the current fiscal year. Problem: it ends on March 31, 2022, and we still don’t have a release date for the free-to-play. Ubisoft has just explained it to his community on Discord.

It will again need a little more time to finalize the development of Roller Champions, so that it meets the requirements of the developers and the expectations of the players. That is why it is now scheduled for late spring 2022which is probably for May or June.

To the Roller Champions community.

As mentioned in our last post, we’re back with another community game update.

After evaluating all possible scenarios, the team has concluded that it will take a little longer to deliver the successful game you deserve. We think this is the right move to properly honor your enthusiasm (and ours!) for the game and the competitive scene you launched around our beta.

We are working hard to ensure that the expectation lives up to your confidence in Roller Champions as the game gets closer to launch every day. We know many of you have been following the development of the game for some time now and to show our appreciation for your continued support, we wanted to make sure you get this news first: Roller Champions will be releasing in late spring. The wait is coming to an end and it’s thanks to your trust in our team that we’ve been able to make such progress that we want to thank you for all the love you’ve brought to the Roller Champions scene.

Your continued support is our fuel during this final stage of production, we’re excited for what’s to come and can’t wait for you to join the arena.

Does this new postponement taint your desire to get your hands on this game of roller derby unbridled?
