Rumbleverse: Epic Games Publishing’s next Battle Royale release date postponed

Although we know the team best for their ports and development support, Iron Galaxy Studios will again release a game that he will have created alone, after Divekick and Extinction. It is Rumbleverse, a Battle Royale in free-to-play who will bet everything on a gameplay in hand-to-hand wrestling style.

It had been announced to Game Awards 2021 for a release this February 8, 2022 in Early Access and a more global deployment on the 15th, which he ultimately failed to sustain. The editor Epic Games Publishing just said thathe postponed the project, because he prefers to give the developers a little more time to deliver an experience of satisfactory quality, which will manage to build a solid community over time. The new release date has not been communicated, but test sessions will be organized with the community by then, including one from February 12.

Today we are announcing that we have decided not to launch Rumbleverse on February 15th.

Having Grapital City filled with Rumblers taught us a lot. We’re excited about the game we’re making – and we’re glad you are too – but we want to do more to perfect the experience. More than a game, Rumbleverse will be a community we want to support for a long time. We’re going to take the time to make sure we can get it right.

This obviously means that Early Access will not start on February 8th. If you purchased the Early Access Pack, we are working with our platform partners to refund your purchase. We will give you another opportunity to purchase content for the game once we schedule a new launch date.

We can’t wait to start building a whole new community of Rumblers. If you can’t wait to play again, you’ll have the opportunity to help us test the new technology that will bring us together on the Battle Barge. The first test will take place on February 12 on PC. Click here if you are a PC gamer and want to help us perfect the new infrastructure that will bring us all together on the Battle Barge.

Patience will therefore be required to be able to play the first real version of Rumbleverse
