Samsung TVs now allow you to buy and display NFTs


Samsung’s new televisions will make it possible to buy, view and display NFTs (non-fungible tokens). With this new, one-of-a-kind platform, the television manufacturer wants to allow investors to exhibit their collection in their living room.

As part of CES 2022, the famous Las Vegas tech fair, Samsung has lifted the veil on a platform that willeasily display NFTs on a TV screen. The platform, which will only be available on Samsung’s MicroLed, Neo QLED and The Frame models, will allow investors to browse, purchase and display non-fungible tokens.

In detail, Samsung’s platform will allowbuy NFTs from several marketplaces. Before purchasing a work, the user can consult the history of the NFT (purchases, resales, etc.) and the metadata on the blockchain.

The Seoul giant specifies that televisions will then be able to display digital works purchased by the user in the best conditions. The television will automatically adjust the settings so that the image matches the work imagined by the creator.
