Sarah Harrison is one of the most popular influencers in Germany. Today the Günzburger celebrates her 30th birthday.
It’s not just her first birthday in her new home in Dubai, no, Sarah Harrison is also celebrating a special day: On June 6th, the native Günzburger will be 30 years old. And although Harrison made a name for himself in German show business years ago, her success story seems to be only just beginning. With her YouTube and Instagram channels, she is now one of Germany’s most popular influencers. The trend of your number of followers? Increasing!
Sarah Harrison’s path to television
It all started very small: Harrison, then Nowak, trained as a bank clerk after leaving school. In 2014 she slowly approached the German media landscape. One day she appeared in “Playboy”; in August 2014 she was even named “Playmate of the Month”. The title “Playmate of the Year 2015” followed a year later.
Overall, 2015 was an important year for Harrison. She took part in the successful RTL show “The Bachelor”. Bachelor Oliver Sanne (34) did not choose the blonde at the time – she reached the semifinals. “She has consistently followed her personal path to success – from a business point of view probably the most successful of all previous participants. I treat her with all my heart,” says Sanne in his book “Scheinwelt – Klartext zu Reality TV & Influencern” about the businesswoman.
The Bachelor shouldn’t be the great love for Harrison. But since 2014, the blonde has also been in contact with a certain personal trainer who would later become her husband: Dominic Harrison (29). The two married in November 2017; their first daughter Mia Rose (3) was born in the same month.
The beginning of “Team Harrison”
Sarah Harrison has been running her own YouTube channel since 2015. Since the wedding, this has been called “Team Harrison” and accompanies the life of the young family. And that is just the beginning of their success story. The channel now has over 1.2 million subscribers. And her success can also be clearly measured on Instagram: 2.7 million people follow the 30-year-olds through their everyday lives.
Your YouTube videos get an average of 700,000 times – some clips even get over a million views. What are your followers most interested in? Stories from real life. Videos in which she offers her fans a tour of her house, for example, reach 1.5 million clicks. The documentary of the birth of their second daughter, Kyla, even achieved over two million views. The little one was born in July 2020.
However, your online life does not always meet with approval. Above all, the fact that the Harrisons take their children in front of the camera frightens many off. For a while, three-year-old Mia Rose even had her own Instagram account – but this has since been closed. Nevertheless, the children can be seen on their parents’ channels.
A new chapter in life in Dubai
In October 2020, Team Harrison announced that they wanted to move to Dubai. In addition to the sunny weather, the young family is said to have moved there too. In their previous home in Munich, the fans often came to the front door – in Dubai that should be history.
Last December the time had come: Sarah, Dominic, Mia and Kyla started their new adventure. About 25 minutes from downtown Dubai, the Harrisons now live in a luxury property that they have already featured on YouTube several times.
Will the Harrisons stay in Dubai for a long time? For now, they only signed a one-year contract. As they did when they lived in LA for a while, they want to leave it open.
