Parents of students have decided to exclude children from school because of their mother's profession, inappropriate in their eyes. A court of decorum which is the real problem here.
Crystal Jackson, nicknamed Tiffany Poindexter, 44, had to "find another school" for her children after being "intimidated" by other mothers, The Sun reports in an article dated February 24, 2021. Why? Because of pictures of this American mom who lives in Sacramento, from OnlyFans, a paid content platform nicknamed "the Instagram of porn". These have gone viral, which has triggered real harassment from other parents at the school where her three children attend.
For these parents of students, these naked clichés as well as their media coverage oppose the school rules, their pressure leading to the dismissals of the three sons (8, 10 and 12 years old) of Tiffany Poindexter. For her and her husband Chris, who spoke in People, this group of mothers and fathers who harass them has "no good reason" to do it, if not "boredom" and at the "jealousy" in relation to people "who want to become famous".
"It's not the children's fault"
It was in July 2020 that neighbors of Tiffany Poindexter / Crystal Jackson as well as parents from their children's school discovered her Onlyfans account. Insults followed, and printed photos were emailed to the director of his children's school. Tiffany and Chris Poindexter say they don't know why their children are being punished for an OnlyFans account they are not involved in. Both are careful to take the sexy photos when the kids are busy or asleep, and the mom responds to fan messages early in the morning."It's not the kids' fault – what we do has nothing to do with them, she says. Are you punishing children for the sins of their parents? If a parent commits a crime, is their child expelled from school? No. We haven't even committed a crime! "
Parents are now exploring other schooling options, however, they believe other Catholic schools in the area are likely to refuse them due to the current situation. According to Tiffany Poindexter, these schools are learning "to children not to be judged and yet they are so quick to do so without asking questions".
A very clear case of "slut-shaming"
This case is a case of slut-shaming, an expression that can be translated by "slut stigma". It's about demeaning and making a woman feel guilty about her sexual behavior or her job, like here, or even the way she dresses. Sexually active, these women are demeaned, stigmatized, symbolically punished, even abused or killed.
