Schwarzenberg barracks – vaccination – now the Salzburg armed forces are helping

Salzburg uses all possibilities to be able to vaccinate the population. So since yesterday, Wednesday, there is another vaccination route in the state. In the Schwarzenberg barracks in Wals-Siezenheim.

In December and January, the Salzburg Armed Forces support the medical staff with Covid vaccinations. Around 400 people can be vaccinated seven days a week in the heated tent city on the sports facility of the barracks. The tent system, which is used in Germany and abroad for military operations, peace missions and humanitarian operations, will house four vaccination lanes over the next few weeks. When can I be vaccinated? During the week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The people of Salzburg can enter the barracks via the corridor at the Walserfeldhalle and be vaccinated if they have a “military flair”.
