PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – Small household equipment specialist Seb announced on Monday that it had raised 350 million euros in December 2021 through a Schuldschein-type private placement. “From an amount initially planned at 200 million euros, the placement was increased to 350 million euros due to a very strong oversubscription”, Seb said in a press release. The order book amounted to more than 1 billion euros, the group added.
Broken down into three maturities of five, seven and ten years, this issue will allow Seb “to refinance its financing instruments due in 2021, to extend the average maturity of its debt and to benefit from very attractive financing conditions”.
Seb also announced that it had finalized the renewal of its syndicated loan, for an amount of 990 million euros and a term of five years with two one-year extension options.
