Sennheiser TV Clear: New true wireless headphone set specially designed for television

• With TV Clear and the TV Connector, Sennheiser wants to offer optimized television sound.

Sennheiser’s new true wireless headphone set comes with a pair of true wireless in-ear headphones and a transmitter dubbed “TV Connector”. The latter is intended, so to speak, for “fine tuning” on TV or other devices.

Not only suitable for television

The broadcaster has a few tricks on board that are intended to improve the television experience. Sennheiser’s in-house AirStream technology promises the lowest latency, so that the content being viewed always remains lip-synched. There are also five different sound profiles. Here, for example, the high frequencies are raised by 20 dB for better speech intelligibility.

The connector can be connected to both optical and analogue outputs. As mentioned, it connects to the headphones via AirStream. Of course, the in-ear headphones are also Bluetooth-enabled for connecting to other devices. Thanks to the built-in microphones, they can also be used for telephoning.

Transport box acts as a charging station

Sennheiser supplies several ear adapters in several sizes with the TV Clear in-ear headphones so that they are comfortable to wear. So you can choose the right set-up for yourself. The “plugs” bring 15 hours of battery life, the box supplied has another 22 hours in the tank. This can then be recharged using a USB-C cable.

Sennheiser specifies a range of 15 meters, the weight of the headphones is only 6.9 grams each, the price for the set is 399 euros.
