On January 24, this 25-year-old Australian ended up in hospital because of a heel that stuck in her left foot. His misadventure was caused by a spider.
Alyssa Lambert, 25, managed to skewer his left foot with the heel of one of his shoes. The heel has sunk 4.5 cm according to what alyssa’s foot x-ray revealed. Surgery had to be performed to remove the heel. Doctors were amazed to see how such a thick heel could have pierced the young woman’s foot. Alyssa Lambert says she impaled her left foot with her high heel trying to get rid of a huntsman spider.
On January 24, the young woman from Sydney, Australia, spotted a Huntsman spider on his bedroom ceiling. She intended to kill her with a spray and therefore had to get closer to the spider. In order to be sure to reach the spider, Alyssa climbed onto her bed. But while she was throwing the spray, the spider rushed towards her. Reacting to this very sudden situation, she jumped out of bed and his left foot landed on the heel one of his shoes.
The puncture of his foot by the heel leaves the doctors speechless
Alyssa Lambert told the Daily Mail Australia thatshe had asked her roommate to remove the shoe, but the latter did not. “I panicked. I shouted at my roommate and she called an ambulance. I was in shock and I was shaking – and then the pain started to set in“, she said. Alyssa was taken to the hospital after the paramedics wrapped his foot and his shoe. “Everyone in the hospital was so amazed that I managed to puncture my foot with such a thick heel. They told me ‘well done, you did a good job’”, she points out. Alyssa’s foot healed very quickly. Towards the end of the week of January 24, he was already removed his stitches.
