Siemens: progress shown in sustainable development


(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of the publication of its 2023 report on sustainable development, Siemens claims a reduction by half of its CO2 emissions in its own activities, compared to its reference year 2019.

‘Approximately 190 million tonnes of CO2 emissions are avoided by customers thanks to the products and solutions sold by Siemens in the 2023 financial year, an improvement of approximately 24% compared to the previous year’, estimates in besides the German group.

Furthermore, he highlights that 416 million euros have been invested in apprenticeships and continuing training (up 11%) and that almost a third of the company’s management positions are occupied by women.
