Skull & Bones would not offer PvP, and few terrestrial experiences

As you must know, Skull & Bones is currently in the testing phase at Ubisoft, and some people who had access to it did not hesitate to leak some information, including an introductory video. More recently, details about the game itself have appeared on the web, telling us a little more about what awaits us in this world populated by pirates.

So, according to information shared by Tom Henderson, Skull & Bones, despite multiplayer features, would not offer PvP, that is to say fights between players. It is in any case valid for the current test, but we could have a good surprise when it comes out. He also explains that passages on land will be quite limitedsince a large part of the events and actions will take place at sea, which is still logical for a ship combat game.

However, unlike Sea of Thieves where land remains a major domain, here players will leave their ship only to meet NPCs, sell/buy loot, and do some ship upgrades. Even after attacking a fort, it is the crew who will take care of going to recover the resources.

Obviously, although this information comes from the tests in progress, it should be borne in mind that the experience is not similar to the final product, which should be offered to us by the end of 2022. Ubisoft should tell us a little more in the coming weeks, after long years of development, changes and postponements.
