Sky 1 gets a new name and look and attracts old and new subscribers with exclusive content. First the name: In future Sky will write out the "1" – in English. So Sky 1 becomes Sky One. Internationally successful series such as "9-1-1", "Die Goldbergs", "S.W.A.T." or "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist".
New starts all April
The redesign of the transmitter will take effect from March 15th, but customers will have to be patient until the extended series offer. The kick-off is on April 2nd with the sitcom "The Unicorn" with Walton Goggins (48) and Rob Corddry (49) and the "Die Goldbergs" spin-off "Schooled". From April 8, a "9-1-1" spin-off follows, "9-1-1: Lone Star" with Rob Lowe (55) in the leading role.
Sky One is also launching the following series in April: "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" will run from April 19, the broadcast of the action series "S.W.A.T." starts on April 22nd and Sky's own production "Das Boot" is on April 24th with the second season On Air.
